International Invitation Orders

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding
and thank you for considering us for your invitations!


Please find here helpful information for placing your invitation order online.

Shipping - PLEASE ignore the shipping fees quoted online when placing your invitation order.
We will email you shipping quotes for USPS 5-10 business day services that are much less expensive than UPS services.
Typically, quotes range from $70-120 for USPS services and $150-250 for UPS services.

Customs - Please understand that your country may charge you customs fees or duties
once the invitation order arrives in your country.
These are country specific and your responsibility.
Some brides decide to have the package delivered to their work address
instead of their residence which seems to help avoid these fees.

Quality - We find that our international brides prefer the card stock (paper thickness/quality) of flat, standard invitations.
Folding invitations (bi-folds, tri-folds, etc.) are thinner to accomodate for the layers that need to fit inside the envelope.
Traditionally and with the majority of invitation sets, all accessory pieces (reception cards, response cards, informal notes, thank you notes, etc.) do fold with the printing on the front of the card.

Card Stock Color - "Bright White" is True White, "Soft White" is Light Ivory, and "Ecru" is Dark Ivory. The card stock color cannot be change for the invitation design because the design is pre-printed on the card stock and only the text is printed once you place an order.

Quantities - Orders may be placed in quantities of 25 only; 25, 50, 75, 100, 125, 150, 175, 200, etc.

Envelopes - Traditionally in the U.S., invitations are sent in both an inner and an outer envelope, so both are automatically included in your order for no additional charge. The inner envelope can be lined with a color of your choice
(at an additional charge), however, it is not gummed and cannot have a printed return address.
The outer envelope, vice versa, is gummed and can have a printed return address (at an additional charge) but no color lining.
With all orders, you will automatically receive blank inner and outer envelopes for the invitations at no charge,
along with blank envelopes for the thank you notes and response cards (if these pieces have been ordered).

Evening Invitations - It is not traditional in the U.S. to send evening invitations, however,
we can still print evening invitations for you. You may either use the reception card with the evening invitation wording
or place a second order with the same invitation you used for the day invitation and use the evening invitation wording.
If you place a second order, we will combine both orders and ship together.
If you use the reception card, please indicate in the customer notes that you require envelopes (as these do not come with envelopes since they are traditionally sent with the invitation
which will be manually added for $5.

Mass Booklets - Sorry, we don't currently offer mass booklets.

Samples - For Carlson Craft samples, please order these online.
Please click on "Click Here to View this Site Without Frames" as ordering samples will not work within frames.
For Birchcraft samples,
please email us with the style numbers you would like samples of.
For Birchcraft samples, it is $10 for one sample, or $15 for multiple samples up to a quantity of 5.
It can take up to 2-3 weeks for samples to arrive.

Accents - If your name requires an accent and you can't add this when placing your order online,
please put in the customer notes that you require this and/or email us with the request
and we will manually add it to your order.

Guests Names - Yes, we can add a line and a space for you to write the name of each guest on the invitation. You can do this when you are placing the order or write in the customer notes or send us an email requesting this.


The Order Process:
#1 - Once an order has been placed, it takes approximately 1 business day to get you shipping quotes to choose from.
If you should decide the shipping is more than what you would like to pay, you can cancel your order at that time.

#2 - Once a shipping method has been approved and a credit card payment has been processed,
it takes approximately 2-3 business days to get you email proofs (if required).

#3 - Once you receive the email proofs, if there are any changes,
it takes approximately 2-3 business days to get you updated email proofs.

#4 - Once the email proofs are approved without further changes, it takes approximately 2 business days for printing
(please note that some invitations can take up to 5 business days, this will be specified in the details for the invitation).

#5 - Your invitation order will be shipped according to the service you chose from the email we sent.
Please understand that customs may delay your order by a couple of business days.
